From September 2018 the choir will meet on a Tuesday evening at 8pm in Shoreham Village Hall, and new members (particularly men!) are always welcome. There are no auditions, and though some sight-reading ability is always an advantage, there are plenty of willing helpers to explain or coach as necessary. Our aim is to enjoy making music together.
The informal winter concert of seasonal music in December is an atmospheric occasion in Shoreham’s lovely old church, and always includes mulled wine and mince pies.
In summer, the Shoreham Sinfonia often joins us in a larger work for our concert in the parish church of St Peter and St Paul. This is a beautiful concert venue, backing onto open country in the picturesque and historic village of Shoreham. We invite our audience to join the choir’s party after the concert and to enjoy these delightful surroundings on a summer evening.
