The Shoreham Singers  are a small friendly group of singers based in the lovely village of Shoreham in Kent.

The Singers perform a wide variety of styles and periods of music, including the SATB choral classics, and popular contemporary music (Karl Jenkins, John Rutter etc), ranging from unaccompanied motets to pieces with instrumental accompaniment.  In summer we join the Hurst Green Singers of Hurst Green village near Oxted, to perform larger works with orchestra, giving a concert in both Shoreham and Hurst Green, when our soloists are often drawn from the joint choir.

Rehearsals are fun and relaxed, and we don’t hold auditions: enthusiasm and the enjoyment of making music together are more important than choral experience, and all levels are welcome.

We rehearse in Shoreham Village Hall on Mondays at 8pm, giving our winter concert of seasonal music and carols in December and the summer one in June, both in Shoreham Parish Church.

We look forward to welcoming new members -  please contact Alison on 01959  524561  or email:  alisoninkent@waitrose.com
